2Faced Youth at DNA European Gymnastic championship
2Faced Youth will be performing at the opening of the male and female European gymnastics championships in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for the up and coming youth company, and great chance for them to showcase their skills on the national stage. 2Faced Youth are currently in rehearsals for this event, and are all looking forward to performing at the NIA in Birmingham. More than 800 of Europe's finest gymnasts are expected to compete at the 2010 European Gymnastics Championships with up to 40 countries expected to send teams. There are team and individual competitions for men and women, seniors and juniors. The junior competition is also the qualifying event for the first ever Youth Olympic Games, which take place in Singapore later in the year.

2Faced enter the Doritos advert competition
We spent the day creating a 29sec advert for Doritos. Nathan French, Alex Rowland, Dan Lowenstein spent a few hours filming in the Courtyard with Doritos everywhere! Under the supervison and Direction of Tamsin Fitzgerald and film maker Ian Hudson, we created a master piece! Using Dan, Nath and Al’s combination of high energy tricks and styles we played around with a few ideas. The winner of this competition get 100k, so please once the video is up VOTE VOTE VOTE!!

People dancing
2Faced are currently in the process of putting a bid into ‘people dancing’ for 100k over 2 and a half years. The bid will comprise of a dance project (UNITE, working title) taking place throughout Herefordshire, culminating in a large scale site specific performance in the city of Hereford in July 2012. UNITE will involve professional choreographers, dancers, musicians, designers and community participants in a dynamic working process over 18months – evolving in the exciting instalments from small-mid scale professional work to a large scale piece involving both professional and community performers!

2Faced main company at 18th Birthday party
Last weekend saw 4 of the main company members travelling to Cambridge to perform at Gemma’s sweet ‘18th’ birthday party. Gemma had previously see 2Faced at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and followed us closely throughout both our UK tours. We performed at her birthday party in front of 100’s of family and friends, and took a limo ride around the beautiful city in celebration of Gemma’s 18th year. Gemma had the chance to perform with Dan and Nathan in the 2nd performance of the evening. Finishing in a big lift, and a few big flips, family and friends rose to their feet in appreciation!

SOAP goes to London

Over a year ago our director Tamsin Fitzgerald went to Berlin to work with Circle of Eleven productions to choreograph their new production of SOAP...the show. Now SOAP is making its London debut and will be on at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith from March 5 - April 25. Soap is sexy, funny and dangerous. Featuring aerial acrobats performing in, on, and around bathtubs Soap leaves the audience breathless in admiration. These awe-inspiring aerial acts are a once-seen, never-forgotten experience. New member...fresh tour
2Faced would like to welcome David Allwood to the main company, he is proving to be a strong asset to the company and he has really enjoyed rehearsing and performing Still Breathing. We have now embarked on our 2nd UK tour of Still Breathing, although the tour is only half way through we have played to packed out auditoriums from Kendal to Folkstone. With Ireland on the cards later this week. Audience feedback so far....
