'still breathing'

Following on from Autumn 08's UK tour of State of Matter, 2Faced Dance return from a highly succsessful sell out Edinburgh fringe run with their new work which takes their unique fusion of break, street and contemporary dance to a new level.  Still breathing is a stark examination of a postmodern urban landscape. It explores how our senses are constantly bombarded so we are left with little room to breathe. An hour of highly charged physical dance from award winning choreographer Tamsin Fitzgerald.

Featuring eight male dancers, with gravity defying moves, acrobatics, break dance, robotics, street and contemporary dance, State of Matter is an hour of intense energy and vibe. Set alongside an amazing soundtrack with stunning lighting State of Matter will take you on a journey looking at dance in its purist form.  State of Matter is about the dance styles, movement, the articulation and extremes that the body can be taken too. It is about taking dance theatre back to basics, peeling back the layers that complicate and seeing it for what it really is.  An art form that inspires, shocks and entertains.  State of Matter will hypnotise, thrill and challenge you.  Brace yourself for the ride of your life!
